ICY WINTER ROMANCE
The days leading up to this wedding had been cold, dry, and brown, so when I saw the weather report the week of the wedding had an ice storm scheduled, I wasn’t all that sad. It meant rearranging the bride’s “getting ready” location (since the Air BnB had a super steep driveway that would be treacherous with ice), and keeping the groom cloistered to make sure they didn’t accidentally run into each other before the ceremony, but the glittery, icy snow was well worth the trade. These gorgeous snow scenes are so precious on a January wedding day!

Hair and Makeup were done at Pin Up Salon in Three Rivers, Michigan and the final getting ready moments were at the church.
We found a brief moment to record their pre-ceremony thoughts and letters to one another for the video and then it was time for the formal ceremony!
Then we braved the weather to create some lovely portrait images!
