A gorgeous day at a magnificent venue, Castle Farms is renowned statewide for its effortless elegance. If you are intimidated by planning and putting together a grand event, a specialty venue like Castle Farms in Charlevoix can be a great idea! They have coordinators and staff who are so synchronized that behind the scenes it’s almost as organized as a Disney wedding!
The wedding day was hot and sunny, but the Castle Farm teams had white umbrellas for the guests to provide a bit of shade!
Dominique and Jordan opted not to do a first look, so the walk down the aisle was the big reveal!
Dominique looked radiant as she and Jordan exchanged personal, heart-felt vows. The ceremony was brief yet poignant, and the guests enjoyed a post-ceremony cocktail hour inside (the air conditioning felt amazing) while Dominique and Jordan made it officially legal!
The reception was held in the Garden Room. Clean white decor weighted with gold chargers and warm stone tile floors created a perfect celebration room for dinner and dancing. Donuts, cupcakes, and cookies took the place of traditional cake. Underscoring the fun hospitality vibe of the newlyweds.
Meanwhile, I went out with the bridal party for fun and formal post-ceremony portraits. (Laughing scenes are my favorite!)
After formals, Dominique and Jordan were introduced into the reception area for a speech from their best man and maid of honor. As the sun began to gentle, we used the courtyard garden and the surrounding grounds to capture more memories of loved ones, family, friends, and the romance of this perfect new union!
