Getting ready for your wedding day in your own family home is a sweet and intimate experience! This husband-and-wife-to-be happened to also have been childhood friends. Thus, Chris and Laura’s respective family homes were nearly within walking distance! How cute is that? In the early hours, Zac and I covered the girls, the details, the arrival of the flowers, and engaging, tender last wishes from both mom and dad.
These flowers, by the way; another stunning design by Dorthy’s Floral Studio! She has such talent!
We sent Zac forward to capture the men getting ready. He found them enjoying wedding prep out on the lawn! It was such a lovely day!
Saint Philip Roman Catholic Church is impressive in so many ways! The archways, the door, the bright, white interior… I loved it all!
A cute party trolley took us to the Battle Creek Federal Center, where Laura’s mom had secured a photo permit! #worthit
There is a park behind the W. K. Kellogg Foundation that has some lush florals and a fun paved walkway. We spent some time there with the bridal party before heading to the reception at the Battle Creek Country Club.
What a party! This family was a blast and kept the fun alive until late into the night!
Almost Fantasy shared an artistic stage with Jamie and Ian of Mitten Films – hired separately to produce the video! They were very friendly and easy to work with. You can check out their website here: http://www.mittenfilms.com/ We had a ton of fun working together!
